Midthunder comes from the Fort Peck Tribe of Assiniboine. Her birthplace was Shiprock, New Mexico on the Navajo Nation. Later, she relocated into Santa Fe and studied at the Academy for Technology and the Classics and her mother was the manager of the casting studio. Amber has Native American ancestry on her father's side. Both of them are part of the Fort Peck Sioux Tribe. Amber is of mixed ancestry because her mother was adopted. Prey has a predominantly Native American cast, including Dakota Beavers as Naru's brother and Jhane Meyers who was Comanche and Blackfeet and provided an extensive amount of advice to the film. Because of the time that the film takes place, it wasn't possible for them just to use any dog. Coco was the choice for Sarii because of the American Dingo breed. It's one of the oldest dog breeds, and it is also known by the other title, Carolina Dog.
TJ sends a message through this movie. He narrates that Amanda is his only love. (Although there are some parts that could be about her daughter, if you look at the film further). He expresses his love for her but she rejected his offer down since she was dating Daniel. In the wake of Amanda's passing, Emily revealed that she was Emily. They've been friends ever since. The series ends with their marriage. Amanda will only kiss Wilf at midnight. One person is the winner of the prize pot.
